Accommodation
At Quinta do Scoto, we are delighted to offer a total of eight spacious suites, available for either bed and breakfast or on a room only basis. Six suites are located in the newly converted barn (or Celeiro), one is in a recently refurbished annex to the main house (or Casa) and one is in the Casa itself. Every suite has been furnished to a high standard with traditional style antique Portuguese furniture. All the bathrooms have been recently installed and every suite has central heating, ceiling fans and is cooled in the summer by the thick stone walls. All our suites are non-smoking.
Our Suites:
Sr. Miguel Suite
This spacious suite is located on the ground floor of the celeiro and has large south-facing picture windows opening onto the sun terrace and pool. There are 2 double beds and a Priest bed in the main bedroom and there is a large bathroom with bath, separate shower, double washbasin unit, WC and bidet. It is suitable for disabled guests and wheelchair access.

Dona Maria Suite
This very large suite is located on the ground floor in the centre of the celeiro and has a tall south-facing picture window opening onto the sun terrace and pool. It also has high level windows over the pool and Quinta grounds. There are 2 double beds and a double sofa bed in the main bedroom and there is a spacious bath, separate shower, double washbasin unit, WC and bidet. This room has an adjoining door leading to the Marquis de Pombal Suite so is ideal for families and big groups.

Marquis de Pombal Suite
This very spacious suite is located on the ground floor of the celeiro. The main bedroom has large south-facing picture windows opening onto the sun terrace and pool and has 2 double beds. There is a separate sitting room/2nd bedroom with 2 twin beds (can be arranged as sofas) and views over the grounds of the Quinta. Between these two rooms, there is a large bathroom with bath, separate shower, double washbasin unit, WC and bidet. This room has an adjoining door leading to the Dona Maria Suite so is ideal for families and big groups.

Dove Cote Suite
This very large suite is located on the first floor of the celeiro and has double aspect views over the sun terrace and pool to the south and the grounds of the Quinta to the north. There are 2 double beds in the main bedroom and a double sofa bed in the in the sitting room/2nd bedroom which leads to a large bathroom with bath, separate shower, double washbasin unit, WC and bidet. A lovely feature in the bathroom is the window which is formed from the original dove cote openings.

Count Redondo Suite
This spacious suite is located on the first floor of the celeiro and has double aspect views over the sun terrace and pool to the south and the grounds of the Quinta to the north. There are 2 double beds and a double sofa bed in the main bedroom and there is a large bathroom with bath, separate shower, double washbasin unit, WC and bidet. This room has an adjoining door leading to the Dom Fernando Suite so is ideal for families and big groups.

Dom Fernando Suite
This large suite is located on the first floor of the celeiro and has a south-facing full-height picture window with balustrade overlooking the sun terrace and pool. There are 2 twin beds and a double sofa bed in the main bedroom and there is an en suite bathroom with bath/shower, double washbasin unit, WC and bidet. This room has an adjoining door leading to the Count Redondo Suite so is ideal for families and big groups.

Adega Suite
This very spacious suite is adjacent to the Casa and has two bedrooms, a dressing room and en suite bathroom. The larger bedroom has a double bed and also has a sitting area with a double sofa bed, and the other bedroom has two twin beds. The bathroom in this suite has a special feature since it is located in the old adega (Portuguese wine-making room and store) and the old wine press has been converted into a deep bath and shower area. In addition, the décor in this room has been designed to provide a ‘courtyard’ feel to the room. So this suite is a must for those who have always secretly longed to bath in a wine press in a courtyard!

Sr. Meira Suite
This suite is located on the first floor of the Casa and comprises a large double bedroom, a sitting room/2nd bedroom and a private en suite bathroom. The bedroom is south-facing and has a double bed, and adjacent to the bedroom is a sitting room/2nd bedroom with a double sofa bed, and views over a sunny courtyard below. The spacious double-aspect bathroom has been recently installed and includes a bath/shower, double washbasin unit, WC and bidet.
