Entrada

Everyone who stays with us at the Quinta, except on a room only basis, is invited to have breakfast in the Casa, served in the Entrada (Portuguese Entrance Hall) and Dining Room. Both rooms have traditional 18th century Portuguese wall tiles and antique furniture. Breakfast is traditional Portuguese style with fresh breads and baked goods, cereals, ham, cheeses and freshly squeezed orange juice

Dining Room

Alternatively, if guests prefer, they can request to breakfast either in their room or in the grounds of the Quinta, and a basket of breakfast goodies will be delivered to their room. Guests have free access to a wireless internet connection which can be utilized with your own laptop or, alternatively, there is a laptop at the Quinta that is available for guests to borrow.

There is also a large lounge in the Casa which is available for guests to use at any time to relax, read, watch a movie or even play billiards on our antique billiard table. An extensive library of books, games, videos and DVDs is provided for our guests to enjoy.

Swimming Pool

Guests are free to explore the seven acre (three hectare) grounds of the Quinta and to make use of the large newly installed swimming pool, sun terrace and barbecue area adjacent to the Celeiro. To save space in your luggage, we provide Pool towels for your stay, which you can also take to the beach.

To help with Airport Security, your Suite will have a selection of Body Wash, Shampoo, Hair Conditioner and Hand Wash, so you can reduce the liquids you carry.

There is ample car parking space close to the Celeiro and Casa.

Guest Lounge

The guest lounge and dining room are linked by a connecting door and both rooms can be arranged to be utilised for functions such as small conferences, discreet meetings, parties and other private events. Please contact us for more information.

At Quinta do Scoto, we have two horses, Lucky and Guapa, that are available for guests to ride within the grounds of the Quinta. Please contact us for rates.
